A resident of Parkview Place Care Centre in downtown Winnipeg has died of COVID-19, marking the 19th virus-related death in the province since the start of the pandemic. “The team at Parkview Place is heartbroken and offer their most sincere condolences to the person we have lost to the pandemic,” Rhonda Collins, chief medical officer at care-home operator Revera, said in a statement Tuesday.
