Bruce County and South Bruce Peninsula will fund GTR route to Wiarton until end of 2024

Bruce County councillors voted to approve a reallocation of $26,500 to fund 50 per cent of Grey Transit Route 5 from Wiarton to Owen Sound for the remainder of 2024. At a Feb. 22 meeting, Grey County council voted to cease operating Route 5 on Sept. 2, among other changes to the service.
