City of Porto Alegre asks for neighborhood evacuation after floods

About 91.3 thousand residents of the Sarandi neighborhood in the northern part of Porto Alegre were advised to leave the neighborhood after a dive caused by the heavy rains that have hit the state since last week. The announcement was issued by the Integrated Services Coordination Center (Ceic) of the city of Gaúcha.
