Highest seismic intensity in Hualien: 6.3 degrees.

Following the 7.2-magnitude earthquake in the outskirts of Hualien, Taiwan in the early morning of yesterday (23rd), Hualien was hit by several earthquakes. At about 2:30 p.m., two earthquakes occurred, of Richter magnitude 6 and 6.3, the latter with a depth of only 5.5 km.
