Five people have been charged in the death of Shamari Taylor, who was kidnapped and killed in 2006 by a group of suspects allegedly posing as police officers. Taylor's remains were found in 2018 at a vacant lot in North Philly, reinvigorating the cold case. Prosecutors say Taylor, the son of a former state Rep. Jon Myers, was kidnapped in a plot to steal cocaine and money.
