Kashmir Rains: Highways, schools closed; Met says weather to improve from Tuesday afternoon

Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing continuous rains for the last three days resulting in flash floods and inundation of roads, leading to the temporary closure of many national highways.  The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday (Apr 30) announced the closure of all schools due to the rains in the Kashmir Division. The disaster management team said that Jhelum was flowing very close to the danger mark in Srinagar's Ram Munshi Bagh area
