Monongahela Forest eyes fee increases for recreational sites

A public comment period on a proposal that would double, or even triple, some fees now charged at 22 Monongahela National Forest campgrounds, cabins, picnic shelters and other recreation sites ends on July 31, followed by a review by the Forest's Resource Advisory Committee. Any fee increases that are approved will not be implemented until 2025.
