Motorcyclist (33) died after a severe crash against a passenger car in Lapscheure

A serious traffic accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m., in the Natiënlaan towards Maldegem on Sunday afternoon. At the intersection with the Landsdijk in Lapscheure, a motorcycle ended up in the flank of a passenger car. The crash was particularly severe and the motorcyclist died at the scene from his injuries. The Public Prosecutor's Office came to the scene to find out the cause of the accident.
