One dead in early morning Carver crash - Newport Dispatch

CARVER — A 56-year-old woman died Wednesday after her vehicle struck a utility pole on Main Street, according to authorities. Authorities said the Carver Police, Fire and EMS Departments received a call at 5:38 a.m. about a motor vehicle accident at 240 Main St. Upon arrival, responders found the woman, the vehicle’s only occupant, had collided with the pole.
