Homicide in Australia report shows almost half the women murdered last financial year were killed by a current or former intimate partner

New data shows almost half the women who were victims of a homicide in the last financial year were killed by a former or current intimate partner. While this represents a 28 per cent increase on the previous year, it is also the second-lowest rate since records began in 1990.
