RNC Arrest Wanted Man Following Attempted Theft of Taxi

A man attempted to steal a taxi as his getaway car early this morning but didn’t get far. Police were alerted that a wanted man was a passenger in a cab in the center of St. John’s just before 2 a.m. They pulled over the taxi, but the man tried to get in the driver’s seat and speed away.
