Summary by Reuters
BRUSSELS - Data on Wednesday showed that the euro zone's unadjusted trade surplus jumped year on year in July, as imports fell further with exports amid an economic slowdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The European Union statistics office Eurostat said that the trade surplus of the 19 countries in the euro zone with the rest of the world amounted to 27.9 billion euros in July, up from 23.2 billion dollars before.
