In Argel, almost 1.460 kilometers away from the capital, in a dry and sandy area where there are no mountains, rivers, or forests, only sand, over 175,000 people have been living for 49 years waiting to return to the land that was once theirs: Western Sahara. For half a century, one of the largest recorded migrations of people has taken place from what was once a Spanish colony to camps set up in Algerian territory.
