Sioux City East grad had role in International Space Station project

The mission is meant to look at ways to develop surgical technologies capable of withstanding long-distance space travel. Work on the robot, called spaceMIRA, was overseen by University of Nebraska-Lincoln engineering professor Shane Farritor.
