Hamas has announced today that it has accepted a proposal from Egypt and Qatar for a ceasefire in Gaza. Israel appears to reject it, but according to an official announcement, it is being examined. "We have received the proposal and are examining it. This is not the framework in which we have agreed. We are examining it," said a high-ranking official at the French Embassy.
