VIDEO. The much-discussed chicane does not cause problems; Mathieu van der Poel has a fierce demarrage in Bos van Wallers

The infamous chicane in front of the Forest of Wallers caused a stir in cycling last week. However, the U-turn in front of the Trouée d'Arenberg did not cause any problems for the group of favorites. Mathieu van der Poel and the leading group of around thirty riders went through the chicane quickly and there were no problems with the chasing group either. Van der Poel also went out with a fierce demarrage afterwards. Watch the images below.
