Village Trustees set to vote on parking changes in May

The Village Trustees are crafting a new parking ordinance, which they will vote on in May. The trustees plan to vote on three parts of what was initially a larger proposal: extending metered hours, raising prices for metered parking, and raising prices for employee parking permits. Currently, parking spots in the Village are metered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The proposed regulations would extend the range an extra hour in the evening to 5 p.m. The …
