The choices have been narrowed as the GFW School Board reviewed the mascot survey at its work session on May 6th. There were 704 responses to the survey with nine choices available. The choices were Falcon, Fire Hawks, Firebirds, Hawks, Mighty Birds, Phoenix, Raptors, Red Hawks and River Hawks.
Of those choices, the top three picks were Fire Bird with 235 votes, Fire Hawk with 104 and Phoenix with 101.
